   The preparation process of cationic starch by semi dry method is that the starch is mixed with cationic reagent and base catalyst to form a mixture of hydrous 20%~30%, and the reaction is carried out at 60~100. The preparation process of semi dry method not only has the advantages of dry process, but also the reaction condition is mild and the conversion rate can reach more than 95%. It is suitable for preparing cationic starch with high degree of substitution.
